How to achieve the best separation results in fuel oil separators?
To achieve optimum separation efficiency with your fuel oil separators, it is essential to:
– Choose the correct gravity disc corresponding to the current density, viscosity, and flow rate. The largest gravity disc that does not break the water seal is the correct one.
– Operate at a constant flow rate.
– Operate at a constant separation temperature.
Small changes in oil temperature, oil density, oil viscosity, or flow rate will cause the oil/water interface to shift, resulting in the fuel oil separator having a “water-blocked stack” or “broken liquid seal.”
Brief History of WSK Separators
1951 Wytwórnia Sprzętu Komunikacyjnego was founded and operated as a manufacturer of radiators, heat exchangers, and cooling systems for heavy vehicles and the aviation industry.
1961 WSK began producing engine parts and, later, centrifugal oil separators (marine separators) under license.
2000 The Separators Division of WSK was acquired.
2009 Separator Spares & Equipment, LLC signed a distributor agreement with Wytwornia Separator Krakow Sp. z o.o.
2010 The organization was officially registered as WSK International Sp. z o.o. in Skawina, Poland.
