MAB 103B-24 Solids Retaining Centrifuge
The MAB 103 high speed disc stack centrifuge is designed for purification or clarification of distillate, marine diesel oil, lubricating oils, and various mineral oils used on-board marine installations and in industrial applications. The MAB 103 solids retaining centrifuge is a proven designed for consistent high performance water and solid removal.
MAB 103 Centrifuge Design
The MAB 103 separator is driven by a horizontal drive shaft, friction clutch, worm wheel gear, and vertical drive shaft. This is all housed within the separator frame; the worm wheel gear is situated in an oil bath to ensure smooth running. The brake is situated on the top part of the frame; braking directly onto the bowl.
The bowl is fixed onto the vertical drive shaft situated in the top part of the frame. The frame hood is hinged to enable easy access when cleaning or carrying out maintenance.
The MAB 103 centrifuge is arranged as a purifier, but all parts necessary to transform it into a clarifier are supplied. The separation takes place in a solids-retaining bowl arranged for either clarification or purification. In both cases, contaminated oil is fed through the center, and centrifugal force separates it into phases. The sludge is forced outwards, so it’s easy to remove. The accumulated sludge and solid particles are removed from the bowl regularly by hand. A liquid seal in the bowl prevents oil from escaping through the water outlet.

The MAB 013 Separator is designed for continuous treatment of fuel & lube oils, hydraulic, diesel, turbine, and waste oils. (Throughputs may vary depending on temperature and viscosity of liquids.)
