OTC 3-02-137
Machine Application
The GEA Westfalia OTC 3-02-137 Separator is a manual cleaning separator with a solid wall bowl and a single centripetal pump. These separators are used mostly for diesel oil and lube oil treatments on smaller ships. They are suitable for clarifying or purifying oils with a low solids content of up to 0.1% by volume.
Separator Design
The clean oil is discharged from the bowl under pressure by means of a centripetal pump. The separated solids slide down the underside of the disc, into the solids holding space, which must be emptied periodically by hand. The separator of enclosed design is equipped with an oil level sight glass and a removable hood. The machine is driven by a 3-phase AC motor. Power is transferred to the bowl spindle via a flat belt. All bearings are splash-lubricated from a central oil bath.
