Welded plate heat exchangers of the GEABloc series offer a large heat transfer surface, but still are very compact. GEABloc plate heat exchangers are made of welded heat transfer plates. GEABloc combines two different plate corrugations in an innovative way. The plates are rotated through 90° to one another and then welded together to produce two different cross-flow channels. The frame is made of four pillars, a bottom plate and a top plate together with four side pressure plates, and connections mounted in the pressure plates. All frame components are bolted together for easily dismantling to clean and maintain the plate pack. This creates a compact plate heat exchanger with two circuits. Every circuit can be fitted with welded or removable baffle plates.

GEABloc has a unique fixing plate system with a panel closure that allows operation with pressure variations without risking plate cracking which would cause fluid mixture and leaks. The welded plate heat exchanger works across a broad range of liquids, temperatures, and pressures. They are distinguished by their small size, excellent heat transfer coefficients and comparatively low investment costs. They are especially robust, suitable even for critical media and require only low maintenance and cleaning.
